Nature

Waterfall tour

Experience Bali's pristine nature and get to know rice and carnation fields, fruit and cocoa plantations and untouched rainforests. You have the opportunity to swim in lagoons and jump from waterfalls. A private experienced guide will exclusively take care of you and your travel group (short tour - 2 hours / long tour - 4 hours).

The hot springs in Banjar: Air Panas

Above of Lovina, near the Buddhist temple Brahmavihara, are the hot springs of Banjar. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the thermal pools are filled with hot, sulphurous water and with healing powers.

The Monkey Forest of Ubud

The “holy” monkeys can be observed here in their natural environment. Since they are not hunted and know humans as food source, they are neither shy nor reluctant. So, watch your personal belongings. Especially the long-tailed macaques are common on the island.

Mount Batur volcano

Rice terraces

The Jatiluwih rice terraces are UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2012. The rice-growing areas not only look fantastic; their unique irrigation system also provide interesting insights into the most important basic food of the Balinese people.

Coffee plantation

Do you know Luwak coffee? No? Then you should definitely take a tour to a coffee plantation. During a tasting, you can savour the well-known Luwak coffee as well as a variety of typical coffees and teas

Coffee factory

If you are interested in exploring how the "Bali coffee" is made, we recommend visiting a coffee factory. We are happy to organize an exclusive tour to the production facility of the Banyualit coffee factory for you.

Winegrowing

In Sanggalangit, between Seiririt and Permuteran, is the location of the "Hatten winery", which is the only wine growing area of Bali. Let yourself be guided through the vineyards and learn interesting things about the special challenges of local viticulture during a wine tasting.

Brahmavihara Temple in Banjar

The Brahmavihara Temple - also known as the "Banjar Buddhist Temple" - is the largest Buddhist monastery in Bali and well known throughout Asia. It is located above Lovina, nestled in the green mountains that are so characteristic of the North of Bali.

Artist village Ubud

In addition, Ubud is famous for its Monkey Forest, the various art museums and the graceful dance performances. Furthermore, you can visit the botanical garden, the spectacular cave temple and you get the possibility to gain insights into traditional craftsmanship.

Relaxing beach day

Relax at the beach side, collect shells or watch the fishermen? We have a cooperation with Spice Beach Club who offers you a full beach service including comfortable sun loungers, bar, restaurant, sun towels and transportation from and to our villa for a special price. Our manager will organize your pick up. The unique volcanic sand is well worth a visit!

Handara Golf Resort
